But your chances of reaching £50,000 are so much greater if you can do a direct appeal. How very Catch-22 of them!

Yes - well, editors, I did say...! but it's quite close actually: nina and chums have raised £1000, I've got £1500 outstanding from you magazine which is supposed to appear any day now, and various other bits and bobs dribbling in...so we'll see...


Sorry, should have said quicker chance rather than greater chance, I know you'll reach £50,000 in no time at all.

It just seems weird to say you can do an appeal but only once you've raised a certain amount of money. As you said though, editors, eh?
