They are quite right. What I Was is a great book. And it's so nice to see that people realise this.

Meg Rosoff is idolised in my house. Daisy met her once on a school trip and never tires of telling me how great she was: "she's exactly the sort of person you'd really like, Mummy!" She and all her friends, including boys, LOVE "How I Live Now."
So, ta for the tip, the new one will make a great birthday present.
