Ha! Ha! HAHAHAHAHaaaaa! Sorry, but it's the little things that make one's day. So, it's 6.20 and I'm just washing the three thousand dishes that always seem to be left over after the dishwasher's loaded, and everybody else has left the kitchen mysteriously, and I'm just thinking, "shall i wash dishes to the Amy Winehouse CD my unspeakably trendy GP friend (yes, You magazine readers, I have a friend who is a GP) gave me, or should I put on the news?" And because I've spent days and days now doing little else but watch DVDs I figure I'll put on the news.
And so it is, that tiny decision made, that I hear the following. Just guess what?? The Department of Health has announced that mobile phones are completely safe and cause no disruption at all on hospital wards, and should be freely allowed. Although, the news item went on to say, this might not happen because hospitals have financial deals with phone companies to provide bedside phones. Ha. Ha. Ha. (scroll down to the bit about Toby).
